At Kunsthalle Helsinki, you can experience drawing on a live model in the form of a performance.

Croquis, a drawing performance is a collaboration between choreographer Sara Grotenfelt and visual artist Anna-Sofia Nylund. The piece starts with a traditional croquis-setting where the audience, seated in a half-circle, draws two naked bodies on a stage. The situation evolves into a performance that explores nudity, intimacy and observation through different senses.

Sara Grotenfelt is a choreographer, performance-maker and performer. Lately Sara’s work has focused on tweaking the social and aesthetic conventions of the performance situation. Sara’s work has been shown at e.g. Zodiak Stage, Hangö teaterträff and Helsinki City Theatre. Her relation to drawing is complicated.
