Rönsyilevän kvääri Lempeä open stage saapuu jälleen Helsingin KokoTeatterille! Maanantaina 22.6. järjestettävä open stage on oiva tilaisuus käynnistää Helsinki Pride viikko queertaiteen parissa. Illan aikana kuullaan kahta inspiroivaa myöhemmin julkaistavaa lämmittelevää esiintyjää sekä tietysti kaikkia avoimelle lavalle nousevia upeita esiintyjiä! Tapahtuma on maksuton! 🩷

Tässä tapahtumassa ei tarvitse olla nätisti queer, vaan tilaa on kaikenlaisille tunteille ja ajatuksille kvääriyteen ja Prideen liittyen. Voit saapua stagelle päästelemään mitä ikinä tarvitsee. Esityksissä ei tarvitse pelätä olevansa liian poliittinen, liian raivoissaan tai liian raju. Pyrimme luomaan tilan, jossa voit olla queer juuri sillä tavalla kuin olet; rönsyillen, rosoisesti ja rakkaudella. Suosittelemme tapahtumaa yli 18-vuotiaille.

Viime vuoden ilahduttavan suuren suosion myötä tapahtuma järjestetään tällä kertaa KokoTeatterin yläkerrassa, jonne yleisöä mahtuu entistä runsaammin. Myös KoKoTeatterin baari palvelee osallistujia läpi tapahtuman.

Tiedot tapahtuman open stage osuuden ennakkoilmoittautumisesta tullaan julkaisemaan lähempänä tapahtumaa. Myös paikan päällä on mahdollista ilmoittautua esiintymään.

Vaikka tapahtumalla onkin teema, saa lavalle tulla esittämään mitä mieli tekee. Tavoitteenamme tapahtumassa on luoda erityisesti queer-ihmisille tilaa jakaa. Avoimuus myös keskeneräisille pohdinnoille on edelleen meille tärkeää ja pyrimme pitämään lavalle nousemisen kynnyksen matalana. Kaikki lausujat otetaan avosylin vastaan, mutta kannustamme osallistujia tarkastelemaan omaa suhdettaan kvääriyteen sekä pohtimaan sitä, miten ja milloin ottaa ja antaa tilaa.

Queer Lempeä Open Stage returns once again to Helsinki’s KokoTeatteri! Taking place on Monday, June 22, this open stage is a wonderful way to kick off Helsinki Pride Week with some unique queer art experiences. During the evening, we’ll see two inspiring warm‑up performers (to be announced later), as well as of course all the amazing artists who step up to the open stage! The event is free of charge.

At this event there is room for all kinds of feelings and thoughts related to queerness and Pride. You are welcome to come on stage and let out whatever needs to be expressed. In performances, there’s no need to fear being too political, too angry, or too intense. We aim to create a space where you can be queer exactly as you are and let out thoughts regarding queerness and/or Pride, whether a soft whisper of self love or an angry speech of hopelessness, or anything in between! We recommend the event for those 18 .

Due to its delightfully large popularity last year, the event will this time be held upstairs at KokoTeatteri, allowing for an even larger audience. The KoKo Theatre bar will also be open throughout the event.

Information about advance sign‑up for the open stage portion of the event will be published closer to the date. It will also be possible to sign up to perform on site.

Although the event has a theme, you are welcome to perform whatever you feel like on stage. Our goal is to create space especially for queer people to share. Openness to unfinished thoughts and works‑in‑progress remains important to us, and we strive to keep the threshold for taking the stage low. All contributors are welcomed with open arms, but we encourage participants to reflect on their own relationship to queerness, and to consider how and when to take space—and how and when to give it.
