Vallilan vapputanssit 2026

Vapputanssit järjestetään tuttuun tapaan Vallilan Hartolanpuistossa vapunaattona 30.4.2026, vauhdilla lämpenevässä vappusäässä!

Hartolanpuistikon ulkoilmatapahtumassa yleisöä viihdyttää tietysti legendaarinen Vallilan Tango -yhtye, joka vie vappukansan tangon pyörteisiin.

Pistäkää tämä kalentereihinne ja rientäkää aattona juoksujalkaa puistikkoon kello 16.30 alkaen, mukana kuplivaa iloa ja ehkä myös sitä kuplivaa.
Tarkempi ohjelma ilmoitetaan myöhemmin, mutta lupaamme takuuvarmasti ainakin tanssinopetusta (tango), jotta kaikki pääsevät pistämään jalalla koreasti. Musiikista vastaa vanhan suomalaisen iskelmän sanansaattaja ja erikoistaitaja Vallilan Tango.

The SPRING HAS BEGUN!

Vallilan Tango Cultural Association organizes the traditional Vallila May Day dances.
The May Day dances will be held as usual in Vallilan Hartolanpuisto on May Day Eve, April 30, 2026!
Put this in your calendars and rush to the park on the eve starting at 4:30 PM, with bubbling joy and maybe even more bubbling.
A more detailed program will be announced later, but we guarantee at least dance lesson (tango) so that everyone can get their feet moving in a proper way. The music will be provided by Vallilan Tango, the messenger and specialist of the old Finnish dance.

Program

The event starts at 4:15 PM. Dance instruction by Marianne Krause (tango)
Vallilan Tango will perform approximately from 5:00 PM to 8:30 PM.
Young wind musicians from Malmi, the Minipuhkut ensemble of the North Helsinki Music Institute North Helsinki Music Institute, will perform under the direction of Miia Reko at approximately 5:45–6:00 PM.
Class 7C from Aleksis Kivi School Aleksis Kivi School will be selling licorice, chocolate brownies (In Finnish mokkapalat), doughnuts, and juice in the area to raise funds for their 9th-grade trip to France.
The evening will be hosted by Rudolf “Rudi” Aarnio and Petra Rovila-Aarnio.

As soon as the final notes have been played, we kindly ask everyone who is able to help us clean up the park together. The organizers will provide rakes.
Please also remember to take your own trash and bottles to the park bins — it makes the cleanup much easier. Thank you!
