Worldconia on järjestetty vuodesta 1939 lähtien. Tapahtuma kokoaa vuosittain yhteen scifi- ja fantasiafaneja eri puolilta maailmaa. Tänään keskiviikkona alkava tapahtuma on jo 75. kokoontuminen ja ensimmäistä kertaa Suomessa ja koko Pohjoismaissa.
