Every month Louis Zezeran and Comedy Finland present this great Stand Up Comedy event, showcasing the best local comedians and introducing great new International headliners, all in English.
September's Stand Up show is one of the top events at the 2017 Edinburgh Fringe Festival, "RACE OFF" with Australian comedians Brendon Burns and Craig Quartermaine.

Brendon is no stranger to Finland. He is fast and intense and he has been performing around the globe for 27 years and has won best comedian at Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Also, Brendon is white.

Craig is an Australian Raw Comedy finalist and journalist and was once a chef's apprentice. Since entering Raw Comedy in 2016 (the major newcomer award in Australia) this "charming ball of rage" has gone from strength to strength. Also, Craig is an Aboriginal Australian.

Incase you didn't know, Australia is a pretty racist place and these two opposites of down under culture have come together to present a show from both sides. Race Off is about personal accountability with a big heart that gives more than the regular "everything's racist!!" or "what? racism doesn't exist!!". They have some ideas on how this might be achieved and do it in a very funny and fast way, without the typical "preachy" thing.

Be warned, this is not some "ebony and ivory" love-fest. The story of how they came to perform together is sometimes excruciating, often uncomfortable but always brutally honest and very, very funny. Brendon and Craig both believe that for proper big, heart-felt laughs, jokes must have a sting in their tail. They have to hurt a little, on some level but in doing so, the guys have made a show which is beautiful and hilarious.
