Reggae Sundays presents yet another night of musical sweetness as Jamaican reggae legend Luciano takes the stage alongside his artistic counterpart Mikey General  in November!
Luciano, also knows as "The Messenger", is known for many as one of the foundation artists of the modern one drop reggae sound along his contemporaries Sizzla Kalonji, Everton Blender and Tony Rebel. Always striving to deliver an uncompromised positively charged musical message of truth & rights while carrying the musical legacy of legendary singers like Freddie McGregor, Dennis Brown and Garnett Silk and yet infusing his music with modern rootical flavors while working with producers like Exterminator, Bobby Digital and Dean Fraser from the early nineties onwards, Luciano is truly a voice of a generation.
While having already reached an icon status with constant tours of sold out shows all over the globe, Luciano always maintains a positive & down to earth attitude both on and off stage. His and Mikey General's first visit to Reggae Sundays is remembered by many as one of the most heartical performances in Finland ever, their two-hour set ranging from singing some of their most well known hits to spur-of-the-moment version excursion on foundation riddims. Always awake and on point, their energetic & intense shows always deliver.

Providing the musical backdrop for the night alongside Komposti Sound will be the iconic veteran selector Fatta from one of France's most touring sound systems, Soul Stereo. His last visits to Helsinki alongside artists like King Kong, Reggie Stepper and Lone Ranger left a lasting impression, with a selection catering to all tribes from the lovers of the foundation sound to the latest dancehall hits - all delivered in charismatic trademark style.
