K&K Philharmoniker vaalii uskollisesti Straussien perintöä ja jatkaa kuninkaita ja keisareita aikoinaan ilahduttaneiden sävelten linjalla. Tämänvuotinen ohjelmisto enteilee uutta unohtumattomien melodioiden ilotulitusta. Mukana ovat muun muassa valssit Accellerationen, Mein Lebenslauf ist Lieb und Lust, Delirien ja Seid umschlungen, Millionen!, polkat Aus der Ferne, Im Fluge ja Rasch in der Tat, helmiä opereteista Waldmeister ja Mustalaisparoni sekä pakolliset Tonava kaunoinen ja Radetzky-marssi – takuuvarmaa K&K:ta!

Euroopan kiertue 28.12.2012–24.2.2013 – konsertteja Saksassa, Sveitsissä, Belgiassa, Luxemburgissa, Tanskassa, Norjassa, Ruotsissa ja Suomessa.

Viktor Litvinovin (Kiovan kansallisooppera) mielikuvitukselliset koreografiat takaavat jo neljättä kertaa itävaltalaisen K&K Ballettin huumorilla höystetyt ja nostalgiset esitykset. Yksi balettiseurueen perustajajäsenistä oli unohtumaton Gerlinde Dill, joka vastasi yli 20 vuoden ajan perinteisen Wienin uudenvuodenkonsertin balettiesityksistä. Kapellimestareina vuorottelevat Matthias Georg Kendlingerin lisäksi wieniläiset Martin Kerschbaum ja Georg Kugi.

”Soittotaitoa ja luovuutta parhaimmillaan” Südkurier, Friedrichshafen

The 2012/2013 Wiener Johann Strauss Konzert-Gala

Time-honoured Austrian tradition infused with a refreshing joie de vivre which captures audiences’ hearts: this is the 2012/2013 “Wiener Johann Strauss Konzert Gala”. For 17 years, Tyrolean conductor Matthias Georg Kendlinger’s winning original ensembles featuring the K&K Philharmoniker and the Austrian K&K Ballett have held thousands of people across Europe in thrall. This spring of vitality and sensibility has swayed more than 850,000 followers in 16 countries, to the point of raising this series of concerts to cult status.

“A feast for the eyes and ears – to satisfy the waltz-lover in us all” Südwest Presse Ulm

K&K Philharmoniker, like no other orchestra, is true to the inheritance of the Strauss dynasty – movements and sounds that provided diversion for kings and emperors. A glance at this year’s programme will assure concert-goers of hearing immortal melodies anew: from the waltzes “Acceleration”, “My life is love and laughter”, “Delirien“ and “Seid umschlungen, Millionen”, through the polkas “Aus der Ferne”, “Im Fluge” and “Rasch in der Tat”, to exquisite excerpts from the “Waldmeister” and “Zigeunerbaron” (Woodruff and Gypsy Baron) operettas. The favourite encores “Blue Danube” and “Radeztky March” round off the evening with K&K in unmistakable style.

European tour from 28 December 2012 to 24 February 2013 with concerts in Germany, Switzerland, Belgium, Luxembourg, Denmark, Norway, Sweden and Finland.

Viktor Litvinov (of the Kiev State Opera Theatre) deploys his imaginative choreography for the fourth year running, lending humour and nostalgia to vignettes performed by the Austrian K&K Ballett – co-founded by the unforgettable Gerlinde Dill, creator of the ballet scenes for the famous Viennese New Year’s concerts for over 20 years. Viennese conductors Martin Kerschbaum and Georg Kugi take up the baton, alternating with Matthias Georg Kendlinger himself.* Austrian life at its most alluring.

“The very best that can be offered in musical and artistic standards” Südkurier Friedrichshafen
