MY DADS STRIP CLUB goes Suvilahti

Iso-Britanniasta saapuva My Dads Strip Club järjestää elokuussa julkisen tilan haltuunottoa, sen valta-asetelmien horjuttamista ja sillä leikkimistä käsittelevän työpajan. Taiteiden yönä työpajan osallistujat jalkautuvat Ange Taggartin (UK) johdolla Esitystaiteen keskukseen.

Tapaamme kello 19 Kalasataman metroasemalla. Sieltä suuntaamme yhdessä Suvilahden tapahtumatilaan, jossa My Dad’s Strip Club viihdyttää osallistujia parin tunnin ajan.

My Dads Strip Club – visiting from the UK – organizes a workshop in August that deals with claiming public space, subverting its power structures and playing with it. On the Night of the Arts the participants of the workshop will land on Eskus – Performance Center, led by Ange Taggart (UK).

We will meet at the Kalasatama metro station at 19:00. From there we will move to the event space in Suvilahti, where My Dads Strip Club entertains the participants for a couple of hours.
