GRAHAM BONNET ON THE ROCKSIIN HUHTIKUUSSA
Monta hienoa keikkaa Suomessa laulanut legendaarinen Rainbow-solisti Graham Bonnet saapuu jälleen Helsinkiin. Bonnet esiintyy 21.4. On the Rocksissa ja tällä kertaa uuden Graham Bonnet Bandinsa kanssa!

Settilistassa ovat varmasti Rainbow-klassikot "Since you've been gone" ja "All night long" sekä biisejä Bonnet'n lukuisten kokoonpanojen tuotannosta.

The Graham Bonnet Band, the new band formed by ex-Rainbow / Alcatrazz / MSG / Impellitteri vocalist Graham Bonnet have finalized their touring and recording line-up.
The band is now comprised of:
Graham Bonnet - Vocals
Conrad Pesinato - Guitars
Beth-Ami Heavenstone - Bass
Mark Zonder - Drums

The first release from the band will be a 2 song E.P. titled "My Kingdom Come" , The title track being written by none other than Russ Ballard, who has had a long association with Graham dating back to Rainbow's "Down To Earth" (Since You've Been Gone) and Graham's own "Line-Up" solo outing from 1981 (S.O.S, Liar)

Graham says: "It's really great to have Russ contribute a song on our first release as a new band , I have a great history with him, having recorded several of his songs for bands and projects i have been involved in over the years".
Additionally track features renowned progressive rock/metal drummer Mark Zonder (Warlord/ex-Fates Warning) performing all drum duties.

The other track on offer, a full original band composition titled "The Mirror Lies", is a powerful song that will certainly please fans of Graham's celebrated career in hard rock.
The E.P. (mixed and mastered by Alessandro Del Vecchio) will be released in time for the Japanese tour the band are undertaking this coming June with Michael Schenker's 'Temple of Rock'.

And as a special treat for fans of Graham and Michael's 1982 M.S.G. release "Assault Attack", Graham will be joining Michael's band for a song or two from that album on each date of the tour.

Graham adds : "We know that this record holds a very special place for many fans, especially in Japan , so this will make the debut shows of the new band even more special"

WISHING WELL - "HIPPIE HEART GYPSY SOUL"
Wishing Well are a hard rock band hailing from Helsinki, Finland. "Hippie Heart Gypsy Soul" is the first single cut from the "Chasing Rainbows" debut album, out 5 February on Inverse Records. For the single the band joined forces with legendary hard rock vocalist Graham Bonnet (Rainbow, Michael Schenker Group, Alcatrazz) and came up with a melodic hard rock song that is sure to impress all classic hard rock and metal fans.

"We wanted something extra to boost the album and when we wrote "Hippie" we instantly realized that Graham would be a perfect vocalist for the song in many ways. I'm a lifelong fan myself and it's fantastic that we made it at the end of the day. Pete (vocalist Peter James Goodman) had no problem with it since he's a big fan too! I'm proud and pleased with the result and it's just amazing that at 68 he's still delivering the goods" says Anssi Korkiakoski, the guitar player and band leader of Wishing Well.

Graham Bonnet will be very busy this year since he's releasing a new album on Frontier Records and an authorized biography later on this spring, written by Steve Wright. He'll also play live in Finland in April after his Australian tour. "The guys got in touch and after I heard the song I was immediately ready to give it a go. It's a catchy tune and perfect for my range. I like the lyrics too. We recorded my vocals in LA and the guys took care of the rest of it in Finland. I'm always ready to cooperate if it's a serious band with a good song. I wish the guys all the best."
The band is now promoting the single and CD with plans to play live as much as they can later on this year. The band consists of Anssi Korkiakoski (guitars), Vesa Riekko (drums), Richard Becker (bass) and Peter James Goodman (vocals), all experienced musicians who have cut their teeth in many other bands before Wishing Well.
