Näyttelyn teemaa jatkava, turismia käsittelevä teos on nähtävillä Muu Kaapelin galleriassa 13.1. saakka: https://www.facebook.com/events/905234209600388/

///

An invitation to the promised land where fields are cleared and houses are put up with the help of others. Where the ground is cultivated and nurtured. Where we travel to faraway lands that cannot hold our weight. Where we leave for a trip hoping that we will not recognise our home when we come back. Where we take it for granted when we are told that all of this is ours.

The exhibition by Anne Roininen consists of installations which make use of light and dark, heroism turned into a mere curiosity, kitsch, fake walls, the feeling of wet pavement and the impression of the view behind a wall.

Roininen's exhibition continues with one piece in another show in Muu Cable Factory untill 13.1.
