Welcome to an online Indian cooking class!
Learn to cook mouth-watering and nutritious vegan dishes from the state of Delhi, perfect for the summer season!
In an online class by Tripti and Mark Francis you will learn how to make delicious Tandoori mushroom accompanied with apple "Kachumbar" salad and refreshing Shikanji lemonade.
- Tandoori Mushroom: fresh button mushrooms immersed in a tangy, spicy and creamy marinade along with bell peppers and white onion grilled to perfection.
- Apple "Kachumbar" Salad a fresh salad generally made with diced onions, tomatoes and cucumber and seasoned with pepper, salt and lemon juice. There are so many variations of the humble kachumbar and we will be making ours with a seasonal twist, adding apples, fresh coriander and a few delicate spices to complete this refreshing salad!
- Shikanji: popular street-style lemonade served during the searing summers in Delhi. A standard lemonade is brought to life with the addition of black salt, roasted cumin powder, crushed mint leaves and soaked chia seeds.
During the class you'll be able to ask questions of the teachers. You’ll get the most out of the class by cooking along but you can also participate by simply watching.
If this timing is inconvenient to you, recording of the class will also be made available after the event on Embassy's Facebook and YouTube accounts.
The class will be held in English but it is possible to ask questions in Finnish as well.
